School Emblem

Since its establishment in 1977, the School has had three emblems. Each emblem presented a green swan upon a white background. This is symbolic of the location of the School in the suburb of Swan View.

In 1985, a new emblem was developed for the school’s change in status to a senior high school. The new emblem was a rampant swan with the motto Learning for Living which became synonymous with the new direction.

The size of the swan was different in each emblem. The original emblem presented half a swan within a simple shield. The subsequent emblems featured a full stand-alone swan. The swans in the latter emblems are depicted as strong and proud.
