Swan View Senior High School is located in the eastern suburb of Swan View. It is approximately 25 kilometres from the Perth central business district in the Perth Hills on the edge of the Darling Scarp, just to the west of the John Forrest National Park. The School’s boundary roads include Gladstone Avenue, Weld Street, and Morrison Road.
Teaching-learning areas include a Performing Arts Theatre, a Visual Arts Centre, a Design and Technology Centre, Science Laboratories, and Computer Laboratories. All classrooms have been networked for learning with technology and students have online access via classroom computers to the Library and the internet.
A large Gymnasium is central to the Health and Physical Education program. Other sporting facilities include a large oval, two cricket nets, six full and two half basketball courts, and two tennis courts.
