The Clontarf Foundation exists to improve the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and by doing so equip them to participate more meaningfully in society.
The Clontarf Foundation conducts full time mentoring programs in selected middle schools, high schools and colleges that cater for the specific needs of participants.
The Clontarf Foundation uses sport and various activities to engage and improve students’ participation in education.
Any Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander boy enrolled at Swan View Senior
High School can apply to be part of the program. To maintain their position in the Academy participants must show a commitment towards the education program, school activities and training.
