At our school, we take great pride in recognising and celebrating the academic achievements of our students. Twice a year we hold an Academic Achievement Assembly to honour students from Year 7 to Year 12 who have demonstrated commitment, effort and consistent results in their studies.
Academic Achievement Awards
The Grade Point Average (GPA) is used to determine the recipients of our Academic Achievement Awards. The maximum GPA is 5.0, which represents a perfect set of A grades. Using GPA allows us to acknowledge students who have performed strongly and consistently across all subjects in their latest school reports.
Certificate Presented | GPA
Gold Award | 4.85 – 5.0 GPA
Silver Award | 4.5 – 4.84 GPA
Bronze Award | 4.0 – 4.49 GPA
Progression Awards
We also celebrate students who are on their way to achieving a School Curriculum and Standards Authority Certificate of Merit or Certificate of Distinction, acknowledging their dedication and progress towards these milestones.
Education Support Centre Awards
Students in our Education Support Centre are recognised with tailored awards, including the:
Personal Best Award
Independence Award
Parents/caregivers will be notified via Compass if their child is receiving an award and will be invited to attend the assembly to celebrate these extraordinary achievements.
